Cissus quadrangularis is a perennial succulent vine in Vitaceae family with quadrangular sectioned branches with internodes and leathery edge. The surface is smooth, glabrous, buff-colored with a greenish tinge. Flowers are in shortly peduncle cymes with spreading umbellate branches.
